強い馬づくりの基本は、よい素質の馬に、その成長過程に合った質の高いトレーニングを行うことです。特に競走馬の基礎体力は、育成期トレーニングによるものが大きいとされていますが、わが国ではそのための施設や調教技術の遅れが指摘されていました。そこで日本中央競馬会は、競馬先進国と同レベルの広大な育成調教場を国内最大の競走馬産地である日高に建設しました。「軽種馬育成調教場」は、競走馬の生産・育成に関わるすべての方にご利用いただける、若馬のためのトレーニング施設です。
スケールの大きい北海道・日高の自然を生かした広大な草原コースや山麓を使った起伏のある逍遥馬場。屋内施設も日本では今までになかった変化に富んだ馬場が揃っています。
日本の競走馬育成に求められているのは、個々の馬の体力や調教進度に応じて、最も適した運動メニューをきめ細かく負荷することができる最先端の施設と技術です。育成期の複合トレーニングを可能にした「軽種馬育成調教場」は、日本の競走馬の基礎体力を向上させ、その潜在能力を大きく育てていくことでしょう。
With the search for the ultimate race horse as our basic
premise, we provide high quality training to match a healthy
course of growth for horses of good temperament. Of special
note is that it is said that the breaking-in and training
period for race horses is major in true development of
foundation for their power. However, in our country facilities
for that purpose as well as training techniques have been
extremely slow in development.
Because of this, JRA has established a large scale consolidated
training facility in the center of our thoroughbred breeding
industry in Hokkaido, to bring our level up to those of
the advanced racing countries. The training there for
the young horses covers all facets in total from foal
through breakin -in and training to the eventual race
itself.
Located in the large scale of Hidaka in Hokkaido, amidst
the majestic backdrop of mountains, the facilities include
vast training fields and a serene cross country promenade.
It also includes indoor training facilities. |
